Hello,
We'd like to use "Video mode (stream)" to support many patterns which is 7bits and over depth with higher frame rate as possible, because if we use "Pattern display mode (pre-loaded)" there are limited in number of internal 48bit ring buffer and over the buffer image would cause to access slow I/F of external flash. Therefore I would like to ask you step by step to understand the logic of DLPC350. (I'm confusing about "Video mode" when I see DLPC350 datasheet, programmer's guide, and some topics in this forums.)
When many of 24bit combined images (i.e. 3 x 8bit) are created, ready to transfer and use the Video mode to input those images as a stream from the external I/F (Parallel or FPD-link), can DLPC350 handle to convert each of bit-planes (r0-7, g0-7 and b0-7) in good order? "In good order" means that the Duty Cycle (bunch of each bit-planes) of R, G and B are divided into same time slot (i.e. 24bit 120Hz => 2.7ms each)? And the bit-planes (LSB to MSB) bit depth could be assigned "a power of 2"(2^)?
Regards,
Takeshi
