Purchase of HUD Optics

Hi ,

Is it possible to purchase only the HUD Optics either from TI or from any of your DLP Services network.

    Hey Suresh,

    If you trying to do a direct view application (make an image that appears on the windscreen itself), then you don't need HUD optics.

    The HUD optics are responsible for relaying and magnifying an intermediate image, creating a "virtual image" that appears to float a certain distance in front of the user (typically ~2m for automotive HUD). The image is only viewable within a small area called the eyebox and does not appear on the windscreen itself.

    TI has reference designs for the latter type of HUD application. These reference designs are available under NDA.

    Unfortunately we don't have any reference designs for the direct view type of HUD.
