Display time in pattern mode

Hi,

What is the longest time an image can be displayed using pre-stored pattern mode or pattern on the fly mode ?

Currently it looks like the time set in the GUI for the pattern and the actual display time is inconsistent when time > 3[sec].

Thanks,

Nathan Klein.

  • Hi Nathan,

Just to clarify, are you asking for the longest exposure time possible for pre-stored or pattern on-the-fly mode?

Can you be more specific in steps to recreate any inconsistencies you found with GUI display times?

    Thanks,

    Trevor

  • Hi Trevor,

I am asking for the longest possible exposure time for both pre-stored pattern mode and pattern on the fly mode.

In both cases if I enter an exposure time longest than 3 [sec] the actual display time is less than that , for example , if I enter 9[sec] the actual display time is about 3[sec].

    Thanks,

    Nathan Klein.

  • Hi Nathan,

I regret the delay in responding to your question. There is an issue with the exposure of the LightCrafter 6500 when values above the maximum exposure are selected. The maximum exposure for 1-bit patterns is ~6.8 seconds. For 8-bit patterns, the maximum exposure is ~11.45 seconds. When these numbers are exceeded, the exposure value is interpreted as (set exposure) - (maximum exposure).

Let me know if this answers your question.

    Best regards,
    Trevor
