Upload Image to LightCrafter 4500 without using GUI

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC350

Hi all,

I was hoping if there is a way I could upload images to the DLP without using the GUI such as command line APIs.

It would be great if anyone could help me with this

  • Hi Nijin,

It sounds like you are using the LightCrafter4500 in pattern sequence mode, displaying patterns from flash images. Have you gone through the process of bundling your pattern images with the DLPC350 firmware and upload this with the GUI? Could you describe your reason for needing a GUI-less interface?

You could take a look at the code behind the image bundling, FW building and FW upload pieces of the LightCrafter4500 GUI to get familiar with the details. We also provide a DLPC350 programmer's guide, which would be useful for your understandling (www.ti.com/.../dlpu010).

    Thanks,
    Clinton
