Hi all,

Our research group is looking to purchase another Lightcrafter 4500 evaluation model. In the past, we have used the Lightcrafter 4500 EVM because of it's easy access to the DMD.

We are wondering if there is an updated evaluation model to the Lightcrafter 4500 and if so, is the DMD easily accessible?

    Hello Phanith,

    There have been a few evaluation modules released after the DLP LightCrafter 4500 which have easily accessible DMDs. Check out the LightCrafter 6500 or the LightCrafter 9000, please note that these EVMs do not have optics or illumination modules included like the LightCrafter 4500.

    Your choice of EVM relies mostly on your application and desired specifications. If you are satisfied with the resolution, speed, and other capabilities of the LightCrafter 4500, it is still actively supported and you could also continue to use that.
