SPI Flash interface(SPI0_xx) on DMD connection

Hello,

I found SPI0_CLK/CSZ0/MISO/MOSI on DMD connector and flex-cable. How does it work? Should I implement SPI I/F on DMD I/F when I design DLPC3438 and DLP3010?

    Hello User,

    Thank you for your interest in our DLP Technology. In general the firmware of the DLPC3438 gets stored on a flash device which can be located on the board or on the optical engine/ flex cable.

    You don't need the SPI connection on the DMD connector if your flash device is located on the board and not on the flex cable. You might want to check with your optical engine provider if the optical engine comes with a flash device on the flex cable.
