Hi Hamada,
Flag is set under following conditions:
For Pattern Definition there are two settings with respect to display.
1. Patten Exposure (in us) -> The time for which pattern is exposed
2. Pattern Period (in us) -> Total time allocated for the pattern
Following options possible
Option-1: Pattern Exposure = Pattern Period
Option-2: Pattern Period > Pattern Exposure where, Pattern Period - Pattern Exposure must > 230us.
For Option-2, let's say, Pattern Exposure = 5000us and Pattern Period = 10000us, now basically after exposing the pattern for 5000us the content must be cleared on the DMD, this is possible iff we are selecting, a flag, refer DLPC350 Programmer's Guide (Table 2-68. Pattern Display LUT Data - Pattern Definition Command
), BYTE2, BIT1 = 1, Insert black-fill pattern after current pattern.
If you are not setting this flag, then the BIT3 error flag in Validate Data Command Response Register (0x7D) will be set.

Hi Hamada-san,
It is a warning flag that the last bit of the Pattern remain after the exposure completion. By appropriate definition in the pattern LUT, the controller will run a 230us black vector that will clear out the content on the DMD after exposure completion.

Sanjeev
