DLP Lightcrafter 4500 Projection Resolution

I have been running a Lightcrafter 4500 projection system through open source Creation workshop software as a Stereolithography light source. The software recognizes the projection system as a 1920x1080 source, i assume this is because of the HDMI connection. It also makes a 1280x1024 input available but this still shows more pixels in the y axis than are present on the DMD specification. Can anyone explain this?

I have also produced a 75µm feature which, according to the specification, shouldn't be possible. Im so confused?!

  • The EDID on the Lightcrafter 4500 has resolution information two resolutions only WXGA 1280x800 or native 912x1140; you may want to check your source not able to read the EDID and adjust resolution output. For experiment you can connect any simple laptop output see that it is outputting 1280x800.
