The sequences are not repeated in Pattern Sequence mode at Variable Exposure.

Hi,

I have a question about the Pattern Sequence mode at the Variable Exposure.

I'm using GUI Control Software ver. 3.0.1, and trying to embed a fast pulse signal in a projected image.

I prepared two images in the flash, one is just a white image(index = 0) and the other is the image I want to project (index = 1).

And I set the configuration as the image below. I check the Repeat mode option.

However, the projected image is blacked out just like a Play Once and is not repeated after pushing the Validate Sequence and Play button.

If I delete S0::G0 sequences(those are seqs for the fast pulse signal), the image is repeated.

I've read the User's Guide, but have no idea about this symptom. So, please let me know about that.

    Hi,

    Do you mind posting the images you are storing in flash? Does that screen shot cature your full pattern sequence? If not, could you share those details? We will try to reproduce on our hardware.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I attached my images, first (white.bmp) was storing in index=0, and second (cross.bmp) was in Index=1.

    Second one is a sample image from TI E2E community.

    Hi,

    We recreated the same behavior on our EVM here with the images you provided. We are investigating another issue related to the pattern sequence mode. We will include this in our testing.

    As a workaround for now, could your application tolerate an a pattern exposure time of 8333us with pattern period of 8564us? I tested your use case with this modification and then the patterns repeatedly display.

    Thank you for your fast make-up check.

    I set a pattern exposure time with 8333us and pattern period with 8564us, the image was projected repeatedly.

    This change of settings is not critical for me, so I use this configuration!
