I am interested in a longer DLP2010 EVM flex cable as well, but am unable to find either the flex cable or the light engine on Asia Optical's website. Have either of you been in contact with an Asia Optical representative? If so would you mind sharing their contact information?

Hello, Summer and Julien, were either of you successful in obtaining longer cabling? I've reached out to the Asia Optical representative from Nadine's link a week ago but haven't yet heard back.

I tried contacting them both with the link Nadine sent and by phone with the phone number on their website, but did not receive a reply to either. Unfortunately I resorted to buying a whole new DLP2010 EVM kit just for a new flex cable. If I do end up getting a reply in the future I will post it on this board.

I know this is an old post, but has anyone been able to get a hold of the extended cables? I'm looking into buying one for a project I am working on and would be appreciative if anyone can give me a link or anything to purchase the component.

Hello Manuel,

You can create your own adaptor board for the flex cable. With the footprint of the flex connectors, you can design our own extension. This link will give you the information you need.

Also, make sure you read the DLPC3435 datasheet http://www.ti.com/product/dlpc3435 , section 11 for layout guidelines. The max lengths are specified in that section. I hope that helps.
