We need assistance in selecting a DLP evaluation system which might allow us to develop a proof of concept for a new product. The requirements are similar to the car console video Ti presented. Seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq00BOJ1N6M

We would like an evaluation module with similar characteristics of the module used in the video, is this the 4710EVM? We want a HD display, but we have limited depth of space and would expect a short throw, is there this a optic variant that is offered?

Our calculation suggests our throw ratio to be .2.

Our evaluations would need to include a system to demonstrate the requirement for touch input if this a separate system?

Thank you for your interest in our DLP Technology. Are you targeting the automotive market or the consumer space for your end-application ?

Depending on which market space we have different DMD options.

We will be using the DMD technology in a consumer appliance, not a vehicle. What would you suggest? thanks Nadine!

Hello Jim,

In this case you can start using our DLP4710 DMD with a DLPC3439 and a DLPA3005.

We have a evaluation module for this chipset configuration available under following link:

Getting an evaluation module to get familiar with the DLP Technology is always a good starting point. You can work with our optical engine manufactures to replace the current optical engine of this EVM with short throw optical engine.

The touch system shown in the demo is a different system we currently don't have a reference design available. I am currently looking into on how much information we can provide to support you in this matter.
