Dear engineer,
We are using the Discovery™ D4100 development kit (ordered from ViALUX) to create a patterned illumination system for optical microscope. Since we are trying to build up a visual servo system, the image pattern has to be uploaded one by one (cannot upload more than one image at a time).
However, as tested on my computer (USB 3.0 interface), it takes ~20ms to upload a 8 bit 1024*768 image onto the board. ~8ms for a binary 1024*768 image. This greatly limited the upload rate and degraded the system performance. Thus, I am wondering if there are any tricks to compress the image and improve the efficiency.
