Lightcrafter 4500 without LED engine setting

Hi, 

I am working with the Lightcrafter4500 and planning to remove all the LED engines and the fan replacing the LEDs with lasers instead.  I am wondering what kind of "additional procedures (e.g. special firmware, jumper bypass etc)" is needed if we plan to do that, leaving only the DMD and the driver board working.
