Hi, I have a DLP Discovery 4100 Development Kit with DMD. It seems to me that the controller (DDC4100) is broken, while other components on board is still good. Considering a new Kit is super expensive, I would like to replace one by myself. I think to get the original one off is hard but doable, however, what next confuses me. I think I need the FPGA code to burn in a new controller. Is there instruction I can follow?

Hello Zeyang,

Let add to Philipp's reply. The controller is a Virtex5 LX30. It does not contain any code. The Controller code is in the DLPr410 PROM (a Xilinx Prom that is programmed with the DLPC410 code).

If the PROM is not damaged, replacing the bad LX30 should be sufficient.
