Why the GUI LC4500 does not allowed me make changes in GPIO configuration? FAN stop working

Why the GUI LC4500 does not allowed me make changes in GPIO configuration?

Recently, my fan stop working, ttheres no voltage on J22

I already upload the default firmware, theres no voltage on the 1st and 3rd pin, only the 3v on the middle pin (fan locked)

  • I'm sorry you're having difficulty with the Lightcrafter fan. I haven't seen that failure before - perhaps the connector has come disconnected or something? Any other details you can provide?

Can you elaborate more on the GPIO configuration? What would you like to change?

    Thanks,
    Paul
  • Hi Paul,
First of all thank you for the fast return.

I tested the fan and connections, when i probe the pins on J22, I only get the 3v (middle pin), i also verify the fan externally.
after excluding mechanical junctions problems, i realize it should be some firmware problem, ( after custom modification, to monochromatic lithography application), so i tried on the GUI software to change de GPIO configurations under peripheral control to change the pin state / output type, and see if it could solve the issue, but when i change anything there, pop windown error message " Modification not permitted on this pin".

    with due attention,

    thiago
  • Thiago,

It is correct that the GUI does not allow modification of that pin. Have you tried reloading the default FW to see if the fan returns to normal function?

    Thanks,
    Paul
  • Hi, Paul

the fan still dead. i plug it from other source... :/ theres no tension on probe there....

  • Thiago,

Without more information I'm not sure that I have any more suggestions for you. I have never seen the fan simply quit....
