I am going to move this thread to the DLP forum since your question is specifically about the DLPC3438. You will get better support in that forum.

However, when I look at the DLPC3438 product folder, inside the tools & software tab, I see that there is a package labeled "DLP display controllers software": www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

Hello Nova,

We don't have a C-library available for the I2C communication but we have a software's programmers guide. The guide describes the commands which has to be send over I2C.

Hi Nadine,

I was looking for a command to sleep/standby the device through I2C but I didn't find any in the dlpu020a.pdf software's programmers guide.
Do you know a way to do it?

Hello User,

Unfortunately we don't have a true sleep command. You can display a black TPG during the time you would like to have no image on the wall or drive Proj_ON LOW.
