LC4500 interface with Beaglebone Black working in pattern mode

Hi fellows,

I recently read about using pattern sequence mode for finer details in 3D printing application

"in order to bypass that processing and directly control individual micromirrors, the projector must instead be used in "pattern mode". In pattern mode, the intensity of each projected pixel depends only on the gray value of the corresponding individual pixel in the source image, regardless of the location of that pixel. I would like to know if its possible to send the slice images from a beaglebone which also would read the trigger from software?

Have anyone try to interface beaglebone with lc4500?

Using a Beaglebone should definitely be possible with the Lightcrafter 4500. Our third party partners have done something similar (www.keynotephotonics.com/.../) and they could be someone helpful to chat with about getting this idea to work.

The Lighcrafter 4500 doesn't have a native Beagle Bone connection - it actually has a Panda Board connection (www.ti.com/.../endequipmentproductfolder.tsp.

Hopefully this will get you started and perhaps the community will chime in. Let me do a little digging to see if I can find out more and I'll get back to you.

The best place for more information is going to be our third parties. DLP has never released any BeagleBone + Lightcrafter reference designs.
