Changing Trigger mode

Hi,

In case of changing the Trigger mode from External to Vsync (after changing of Pattern source from Flash to Video port), do we need to switch temporarily to Video Mode? Otherwise the setting changes of Pattern Exposure time and/or pattern sequence will not be reflected, after we change the Trigger mode from External to Vsync, will be?

Regards,
Takeshi

  • Takeshi,

I'm not sure that I understand your question, but I'll do my best:

If you already have a sequence defined and you started on "Internal/External" trigger, those bit planes will still have "internal/external" as their trigger type even if you switch to Vsync.

The way you are suggesting, where you go to Video mode and then back to pattern mode and set the trigger type to "Vsync" will work because it clears the pattern sequence settings. You could also just delete any bit planes in the pattern sequence window and re-add them with the correct trigger mode.

    Hope this answers your question.
