RGB LED characteristics for DLPDLCR3010

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP3010

Hello DLP Pico team,

I have a question about the characteristics of wave length for DLPDLCR3010.

We would like to have the information of the figure or graph to know the RGB spectrum of LED on DLPDLCR3010.

Is it possible to provide any graph or figure to know these information?

Or, would you please tell us how many variations are there from the center of wave length?

It would be helpful if you can give us these information about each RGB LEDs.

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Hello User,

Thank you for your interest in our DLP Technology.

For detailed information regarding the eProtech engine you have to get in contact with eProtech directly.

The contact information can be found under following link:

    www.ti.com/.../solutions-services.page

In general a common LED type for the DLP3010 DMD are Q8WP LEDs from Osram.

  • Hello John P. Morrison,

    Thank you for your comment.

I understand that we should ask eProtech directly.

But it looks there is no information about eProtech in the web page you specified.

Do you mean we should ask Anhua (Shenzhen Anhua Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.)?

If you are also saying that the common LED for DLP3010 is OSRAM Q8WP.

Does this mean that LightCrafter display 3010 is using the following LEDs?

    Green: LE T Q8WP-MBNB-34

    Red: LE R Q8WP-KBMA-34

    Blue: LE B Q8WP-7A6B-W4

Or, should I still ask this information to Anhua?

It is good for us to know what LEDs are used in LightCrafter Display 3010.

It would be helpful if you can give us any comment.

    Best Regards,

    Nobu Arai

  • Nobu,

Yes, sorry, I should have said eProtech is also called Anhua.

I would still recommend contacting Anhua (eProtech) about this, since they manufacture and design the optical engines for this EVM.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
