Problems uploading firmware larger than 8MB

Hi,

I am using a LightCrafter 4500EVM for testing purposes and I have trouble with uploading firmware images that are larger than 8MB. The magical border seams to be 8196 KB. A firmware image with 8.340.156 bytes is working, another image with 8.412.868 bytes is failing. The LC4500 is connected to a Windows 10 Computer via USB 2.0. I am using DLP LightCrafter 4500 Control Software in version 3.0.1. The software starts the upload process, but will get stuck when reaching the 8MB border (I guess, e.g. the mentioned 8MB fails at 99%, a 10MB image fails at 75%). The software will not continue even after a waiting for a good amount of time. Restarting everything doesn't change anything. Luckily uploading smaller firmware versions still works and the LC4500 keeps working with them.

What is going on here? From the manual and from this discussion I take that it should be possible to upload roughly 30MB worth of image data. I am trying to upload ten 24bit images, which results in an ~11 MB sized firmware file.

Any help would be highly appreciated,
Cheers,
Jan
