What are general parameters of the lens, supplied in DLP LightCrafter Display 2010 EVM?

Hi,

Recently, we have acquired your evaluation module DLP® LightCrafter™ Display 2010 EVM, and currently we are examining its possibilities for our start-up project. Unfortunately, User’s Guide available at www.ti.com/.../dlpu027b.pdf) does NOT contain necessary general information about the included lens as:

1) Focal length,

2) F-number,

3) Field of view.

We would appreciate very much, if you indicate numeric values of above-mentioned three parameters of the lens. Thank you in advance.

    Let me first direct you to this page, which details the optical engines used with various EVMs: www.ti.com/.../solutions-services.page

    Specifications for the DLP2010 optical engine are provided here, but it does not give you the information you need directly. Instead, you can calculate the values you requested using the given information.

    We also provide information on how to derive important optical information in the following application note: www.ti.com/.../dlpa044.pdf

    In particular, I recommend you look at pages 5-11 for sections detailing calculation of Focal length, F-number, and Aperture.
