Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP4500
Good afternoon, I m Victor Amary, application engineer.
I am currently looking for some 3D solution and your system caught my attention. I am very impressed by the outcome from your pattern acquisition system. Within the point cloud section, you are talking about "accurate reproduction" or "accurate measurements". Therefore, i am wondering :
- What would be the accuracy of such system? there is not so much information about it ...
- Is the accuracy mainly limited by the camera/lens pair ? My thought is that the resolution of the camera needs to be good enough to detect the smallest fringe isn't it ?
- How do you calculate such accuracy ?
In my terms, accuracy refers to the -optical- resolution (this could have several meanings according to people and fields). In others terms, the ability of the system to distinguish the smallest detail possible -from one pixel to its neighbour.
I would be grateful to get some additional information on this.
Thanks in advance,
Victor AMARY
