Discovery 4000 Questions

Hello,

I have a few questions related to the Discovery 4000 kit. Firstly the guide to documentation refers to the Discovery 4000 API c++ source code for the DLL and ActiveX control (section 2.2.4); however I have been unable to locate it on the KnowledgeBase, where can I find it?

Secondly, is the program which runs on the Cypress USB controller available?

Finally, the DDR2 SODIMM Interface Corrections technical advisory states that there are interface limitations and full bandwidth cannot be achieved, I was wondering if someone could provide an approximate value for the achievable memory frequency.

    Hello Luigi,

    Thank you for your interest in the source code.  The source code should now be available from the distributor that you bought your kit from. 

    I noticed that you posted in a thread about a D4100.  There you mentioned that you have a D4100 kit.  Please note, although very similar the code for these kits are not identical.  Please be sure to request the right code.

    The code available should have code that talks to the Cypress USB driver, but the EZ-USB Cypress code itself is copyrighted by Cypress and must be obtained from Cypress.
