    Hi Frederic,

    Welcome to the DLP Forums and thank you for your question! Yes, the NIRscan can be used for the analysis of solid samples. There are some limitations for samples that are very absorbent at NIR, but we do have customers using NIRscan for analysis of soil and plants.
