There are quite a few applications and end equipments being developed using DLP technology. Here are a few of the application areas: Direct imaging, Stereolithography, Confocal Microscopy, Vascular Imaging, 3D Optical Metrology, Machine Vision, Biometrics, Spectroscopy, and Optical Networking.  If you go to this link http://focus.ti.com/dlpdmd/docs/accessdesigncenterlanding.tsp?sectionId=61  you can read about some examples. 

Also, there were 2 blogs recently posted that discussed the DLP topics presented at a SPIE conference in January.  These also offer examples of how engineers and developers are using DLP for their research and end equipments.

Information about the D4000 can be found at the website www.dlpdiscovery.com.   Regarding the D4000 software and manuals, they are made available with the purchase of a D4000 kit. i have one more doubt..In the API programmers guide they have mentioned to refer to the sample code available on TI KnowledgeBase  for an example of using the ActiveX control.but i couldn't find any sample code in TI KnowledgeBase.How I will get the sample code.please reply....
