DLP Discovery 1100 - Technical Specifications Sheet

Hi TI community,

I have an old DLP Discovery 1100 and I can't find technical specifications for it. I would like to know what light source (power) I can use with it, heat tolerance etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Arslan,

You can find the user's guide here: focus.ti.com/.../25061976-b.pdf. Table 16 shows the absolute maximum ratings for DMD temperature.

The DMD used on the Discovery 1100 is the DLP7000 and the datasheet for that device will have the light source and heat tolerance specs that you are looking for: www.ti.com/.../dlp7000

Hello Arslan,

This is an older platform. The DMD is actually different DMD that was EOL'd in 2008. However, Paul is on the right track.

For the illumination and heat specifications, the DLP7000 datasheet information will work.
