DLPNIRNANOEVM: NIRScan Nano Transmission Measurements

Part Number: DLPNIRNANOEVM

Dear DLP Experts and Community,

I am interested in using the NIRScan Nano for tranmissive measurements of fluids. I found Opteck to provide a transmissive module to attach to a given NIRScan Unit.
First question would be, if there are any experiences on limitations of applicabiltiy (e.g firmware versions, mechanical redesigns, etc)

Secondly, are there any custom fluid flask necessary or purchasable? Or may you recommend suitable test glasses?

Thank you very much and best regards

Janosch

  • Hi Janosch,

We also use the Opteck module here at TI. There are no limitations on applicability, no need to worry about any changes to SW or HW. At this point, we don't have any recommended flasks. NIR compatible cuvettes that fit in the Opteck module should be all that you need.

Sorry that I don't have much in the way of specifics - we haven't done much liquids testing.

    Thanks,
    Paul
