DLPLIGHTCRAFTER: Increase exposure time to 12 seconds and trigger an external device

Part Number: DLPLIGHTCRAFTER

Hi,

I am using a DLP LightCrafter Evaluation Module with the light engine removed. I want to project images from an image sequence for 12 seconds, and trigger an external device when the image changes.

I have found that I could not set an exposure time longer than 2 seconds while in the stored pattern sequence mode with an automatic trigger (but the exposure time can be arbitrarily long for a manual trigger). I have tried to alter the C code provided by Texas Instruments and managed to make the images project for as long as I want, but in order to do this I had to set the DMD in the static image mode. Unfortunately I could not trigger an external device when in this mode.

Is there any way I could both trigger an external device and project the images for 12 seconds, without having to manually change the image or use an external trigger such as a function generator, using either the GUI or a code?

Thank you,

Isabelle
