DLP6500FLQ: Loading software into custom board

You will either need to pre-program the bootloader onto prom before mounting it or you must have the JTAG interface populated on the board along with the jumper that enables it.

To load it over JTAG you will need to download the DLPC900REF-SW -3.0.0 found on this page:

http://www.ti.com/tool/DLPLCR6500EVM 

On that page you will also find the DLP LightCrafter 6500 and 9000 EVM User's Guide (Rev. C) which will have a section on loading it over JTAG.  It is in section 3.10.

Hello Ming,

You appear to be referencing the DLP6500FLQ (hermetic type DMD) for your request, but the socket you cite is for the DLP6500FYE (non-hermetic DMD).

The information you seek can be found in the following document on page 8:  http://www.ti.com/lit/an/dlpa067/dlpa067.pdf 

This document shows that the DLP6500FLQ requires an interposer part from Amphenol - part # 7500-103 (203 contacts).
