DLP LightCrafter3000 Evaluation Module/labview

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC300

Hi Fizix,

[Thank you for your reply], Now I have a DLP Lightcrafter3000 (the controller is dlpc300). For the purpose of experiment I unload the led part,I illuminate continuous laser on the surface of DMD ,by controlling the on and off state of the micromirrors we can get some special and static pattern. I want to control the micromirror state(on/off) through Labview to realize the process:upload a static pattern, and the CCD record the picture, then upload the next static pattern, and the the CCD record the the pattern, the whole process is repeated many times. Is there any simple way to realize it?

Best regards,

Peter

  • Hi Peter,

Control of the mirrors on the Lightcrafter is achieved by loading images to it. The controller handles the mirror flips for you. I would recommend that you start by taking a look at the user's guide (www.ti.com/.../dlpu006e.pdf) and downloading the GUI to start playing with the available functionality. Look at section 2.9 for how to load a static image.

If you eventually want to move away from using the GUI, you'll want to also familiarize yourself with the DM365 programmer's guide (www.ti.com/.../dlpu007d.pdf) and the DLPC300 programmer's guide (www.ti.com/.../dlpu004b.pdf)

Once you've had a chance to play around a bit, let me know if you have any further questions.
