Hi,
I have a couple questions. I'm wondering if the DLP NIRscan EVM will work for my application and I am having trouble finding the specs on the optical components. I will likely want to do a bit of modification to get the wavelength range and the spectral resolution that I need so I want to know what the focal lengths of the lenses are and what the grating density of the diffraction grating is. My questions are:
1) What are the specs on the optical components in this module (I think all that I am missing are focal lengths, grating density and blaze angle)?
2) Is there a diagram with actual measurements of the optical board somewhere?
3) It looks like each component is secured onto the thermal plate - so if I wanted to modify the distances of the lens to change the wavelength range, is there a way to do this on the existing plate or would I need to drill new holes and/or take it apart and use a separate breadboard.
4) I did find that the lenses are spherical, so I would imagine that you get some spherical aberrations from the lenses? How does this affect the performance of the spectrometer?
Thanks so much for your help with this.
