DLP4500: User can rewrite Flash via I2C ?

Hi,

Let me talk about DLP4500.

I understand User can rewrite Flash via I2C.
This understanding is correct ?

If yes, How much time I2C of real throughput data speed ?

I know clock speed of I2C is up to 400kHz.
I just want real throughput data speed for rewrite.
I want to estimate of time for writing of 10Mb data.

Hello Hiroyasu

Your theoretical throughput would be 400 kbit/s. Obviously there will be overheads but I do not yet have a real world speed. You should be able to upload your image and see the timing. However, for an image of up to 10Mb you might be better off using USB as I2C would take quite a long time. The programmers guide for the DLP350C should be able to help you write to the flash.
