DLP4500-C350REF: DLP4500 add image to firmware

Part Number: DLP4500-C350REF

Hi all,

I'm using DLP Lightcrafter 4500 EVM and DLP Lightcrafter 4500 control software v3.1.0.

And I want to add a .bmp file into the firmware. But it report the error as

But my image is 

so what is the possible reason for this problem? Thank you for your help.

    Hi Kevin,

    Can you describe a little further the steps in your process to get this error? Can you send me the image you're trying to upload so that I can see if I'm able to replicate this error?

    The dimensions of the first image are correct - 912x1140.

    We'll get this figured out!

    Thank you so much for your reply. I'm sorry for my bad description.

    Here are my all steps for my operation.

    I download the images from the Internet and I try many different images, but they don't work.

    Hi Kevin,

    It seems like the issue has something to do with how the images are encoded from the web. I was able to duplicate your error.

    The way I fixed it was to open the image in Microsoft Paint (or similar), confirm the resolution is 912x1140 and resave the image as a .bmp file (didn't matter if it was 16 color, 256 color, or 24bit). After I did that, the Lightcrafter 4500 GUI was okay with the image.

    Try that and let me know if it works.
