DLPLIGHTCRAFTER: LightCrafter GUI stored pattern sequence Upload All Fail

Hello,

I am currently trying to upload created images as a Stored Pattern Sequence.  The images are BMP, 608x684 and are 1-bit length. The file names are ###_name.  The images upload individually in the Static Image/test Pattern window, but when attempting to upload a series of them in the Stored Pattern Window, the upload command fails.

Running on MAC.  DM365  5.0, FPGA 2.6.43, MSP430 3.0.

I have seen other forms discussing this issue, but have not found a solution that works for me.  Does anyone know how to sort this out?

Thanks,

Evan

  • Hello Evan and welcome to the E2E forums,

Unfortunately I have not personally seen this problem and don't have an immediate solution. Are you able to detail the steps you took and the order you took them? Also a screenshot would help. Additionally, if you are able to send a couple of the images I can verify they work on my end.

Hopefully this additional information will help me get you a solution that works.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
  • Hello.

    1.  Connected power cable and USB cable to EVM

    2. Opened GUI and connected to EVM

    3. Display mode set to Stored Patterned Sequence

    4. Set bit depth, pattern count, exposure, etc

    5. clicked browse and uploaded all 10 images in file selector

    6. Selected Upload All in the GUI --> Command FAILED

I uploaded 3 images. I could not get this to work with even 1.  It may be better for me to upload them from an SD card, if that is possible

  • Hello Evan,

What version of the GUI did you downloaded? I believe it is only supported on the PC and not the Mac.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

  • Hello Evan,

Are you able to individually upload the images and get it to work? I'm also curious if you have access to a Windows machine to see if upload all works on that machine. That would help us figure out if the problem is related to the GUI or something else.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
