There are no hooks in the controller to manage a heater, so you would have to implement your own control system. 

Typically this is very system and operational dependent.  Most of the systems are customer proprietary.

When we have used them for burn-in testing we have used some cartridge style heaters from Watlow.  You would likely want to embed the heater in your heatsink along with a thermistor.  And you will probably want a resistance that allows 10 - 20 W of power dissipation with the voltage that you have available.
