Static reflective light pattern

I want to create a static reflective pattern using a DMD for

doing measurments on a heterodyne diffraction setup.

I'm rather new here, can anyone help me concerning

the integration of a DMD-DLP system within a Labview

environment to create a static (no refreshing) reflection

pattern?

Thanks alot.

  • Hello Bert,

A belated welcome to the DLP section of the TI E2E community.  I am sorry for the delayed response.

You have posted this under the LightCommander section, so I assume you were considering using the LightCommander Kit to accomplish this.  At this time there is no LabView based environment built up for the Light Commander.  There is an API document and Programmers Guide available.  You can use this to build a LabView wrapper if you desire.

If you wish to use the D4100 kit (see http://focus.ti.com/analog/docs/memsmidlevel.tsp?sectionId=622&tabId=2447) I have some LabView Example code that some have found useful as a starting point.  Judging from your request, the D4100 kit would likely be a better fit for what you are trying to do.  Just click on the DLP Design Houses link on that page to contact a reseller for the D4100.

    I hope this helps,

    Fizix
