Hello Sir/Madam,
I have two questions regarding the 4500 GUI software:
1. First question
I connected my PC to 4500 through the micro-HDMI port. I pressed the windows+P shortcut and extended the windows screen to the projector.
My purpose is to run the projector in "pattern sequence " mode but appears as close to the "video mode" visually to the human eye as possible. The following is my set up:
whereby i used the bit sequence of:
F0:R0 F0:R1 F0:R2 F0:R3 F0:R4 F0:R5 F0:R6 F0:R7 F0:G0 F0:G1 F0:G2 F0:G3 F0:G4 F0:G5 F0:G6 F0:G7 F0:B0 F0:B1 F0:B2 F0:B3 F0:B4 F0:B5 F0:B6 F0:B7
Am i correct?
2. Second question
I don't know the purpose of the "frame index" and "bit depth" selections under the pattern sequence mode. Since I simply extended my PC screen to the projector, isn't there only one 24-bit frame sent every 1/60s to the projector? In other words, there is only one frame once every 1/60 s (Windows PC has default refresh rate of 60hz, hence VSYNC happens every 1/60s). Why is there still frame selection? Also what does bit depth mean?
3. Third question
I read from forum that there are other ways to send the data by dividing it up in different frames to send. Isn't the PC sending 60 frames(screen pictures of 24-bit color) by default? Could you please teach me other ways to send the data besides hooking up to the PC and extend screen?
Thanks,
Kyle
