DLPDLCR2000EVM: 3D model

Since this EVM uses GPIO to drive the parallel video interface, you have a lot of flexibility with regards to how you connect it to your host processor of choice.

First of all, I recommend you search E2E with "DLPDLCR2000EVM" and "Raspberry Pi" as keywords. There are a number of threads by developers like you who have made great progress in their own implementations. For example:

I recommend you also review the pinout diagram in section 3.2 in the DLPDLCR2000EVM user's guide for help in setting up your connection:

Finally, I suggest you also check section 2.4.1.5 in the DLPC2607 programmer's guide, which details the various pixel formats this EVM can achieve:
www.ti.com/.../dlpu013.pdf

The DLPDLCR2000EVM is not limited to RGB888. It can also output, for example, RGB565 and RGB666. With the smaller pin counts offered by these formats, you may have an easier time interfacing with hardware featuring more limited GPIO.
