DLPNIRNANOEVM: Unable to scan with USB connection

We bought a DLP NIR SCAN NANO PART No : 95.UB101GC0A.

When we connect the device via USB and try to scan thru the DLP NIRScan Nano GUI, it always encounter an error.

Here are the versions of the GUI and Firmware which I'm using

Thanks for using the TI E2E forums. Have you been able to successfully scan with this EVM in the past, or using a different method?

We are able to do scans via bluetooth

Interesting, are you able to download the latest TI.com firmware over USB?
Also can you try a different computer, running windows 7 preferably. You might also try swapping out multiple usb cables.

Yes, I managed to update the firmware via USB but scanning is still not possible. Scan data read from device failed.

We will try it on a Windows 7 machine if we can get our hands on one. We are running a Windows 10 environment here so we would like it to work on Windows 10.

Unfortunately I am unable to replicate this issue.
I see you are using the 'new' option on the scan reference select. This is intended to be used with a highly reflective white surface. Typical scans will use the 'previous' or 'factory' reference.
Does this issue occur with all scan types?
