hello,

can you give me some information about flash memory size?

I wonder how may images can save in flash memory. image format is BMP(1920*1080)

if the flash memory size is 100Mb, can i save 100Mb/2Mb FHD images?

    Hello Thanks for using the DLP E2E forums! From the DLPC3439 datasheet the max size of flash supported is 64Mb. The GUI supports up to 4 custom splash images.

    i have more question.

    In "DLP LightCrafter™ Display 4710 EVM Gen2 User’s Guide" on page 9, two 64Mb flash memories are in the board.

    does it mean i can use 128Mb? or 4710 EVM Gen2 support only 64Mb?

    is there a way to use 8 custom splash images?

    No, you will not be able to combine them into a single 128Mb. There hold the firmware image file for each controller. Each will be used at the same time by the controllers at boot up so they need to be independent.
