Compiler/DLPLCR4500EVM: Using Visual Studio as the compiler

Part Number: DLPLCR4500EVM

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hi all,

I know Visual studio isn't supported officially by TI but I am looking for some help is using the compiler in visual studio 2017 as opposed to MinGW. I can use any version of Visual studio if that makes it any easier.

I have successfully built the applications supplied by TI using this document  http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/dlpu042/dlpu042.pdf and using the MinGW compiler that comes with QT

Now, what I would like to do is just use the visual studio compiler (32 bit) but I am running into problems

Are there any other members of this forum who have successfully compiled the applications with visual studio? Should it be fairly straight forward to accomplish i.e just pick the VS Compiler as opposed to the MinGW compiler?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

John
