My optical engineer has designed a Fresnel lens usable for VR headsets but which requires curved screens to solve the extreme field curvature and be usable.
We are considering using DLP and a DLP projection screen as the curved screen.
The question is, is it possible to make small enough (same size/number of elements as ordinary projection lens) lens for DLP to project with uniform focus on a urved screen such as this?
If yes, is there a chance one of your partners have experience in designing such lenses?
