DLPLCR4500EVM: how to display image in pattern mode?

Part Number: DLPLCR4500EVM

Display the image using the 'DLP LightCrafter 4500'board's pattern sequence mode.

I saw and follwed the DLP LightCrafter 4500 user guide.

I updated the firmware including the image using the provided GUI program.

but image is not output. Projector display 

Can not output images in pattern sequence?

    Hi MinGu,

    Please provide the steps and document reference section. You should see with internal trigger mode, in case you have configured for external trigger, there will not be any output until you provide trigger input to the EVM.

    I follwed step below.

    1. I build the firmware by including images using provided GUI program(DLP LightCrafter 4500 Control Software).

    2. I updated firmware.

    3. I set the GUI program.

    - pattern source : Flash

    - Trigger Mode : Internal/External

    - Pattern Exposure : 500000

    - Pattern period : 500000

    4. I created the pattern sequence in the 'Individual Pattern Setting' section.

    I set it as shown below.

       Flash index is 0(it is image of DLP 4500 logo included in basic firmware).

    5. I click the send button.

    6. I play the pattern sequence in 'Pattern Sequence Start/Stop/Pause' tap.

      The result is the same as the follwing video.

    I do not see the image because I set it wrong? Or is it that way?

    Hi MinGu,

    I see you are trying to display 3 8-bit patterns from image index - 1; you need to remember which index the image of your interest located. Accordingly you can select the image index in your pattern sequence page.
