DLP4500: Differences between DLP4500FQE & DLP4500FQD

Hi Ti,

I have received information from sales that DLP4500FQE will be EOL in July 2019 therefore I wish to continue to use DLP4500. As I can see that the alternative is the LCCC package DLP4500FQD but I have the following questions which need your help to clarify.

1) DLP4500FQE comes in connector type and DLP4500FQD comes in LCCC package. Would like to know whether what is the soldering profile for DLP4500FQD and how is it to be mounted in the board? What is the installation and handling method?

2) Price is difference from DLP4500FQD is 2x more expensive than DLP4500FQE. May I know why is there so much of difference?

DMD needs to be mechanically mounted in the system for electrical connection. Please refer to following application notes for mounting concepts and installation guidelines:

Hi Vivek,

1) It seem the DMD cannot be direct solder on PCB, it need an adaptor call "Interposer", what is the brand or part that recommended by you?

2) Noticed that in TI Datasheet, for assembly concept, there's a number indicated in each mechanical parts, can i know which brand of vendor can we purchase this parts or what are the other options?

After looking through, can you share me the CAD files for the Optical Interface and Related Hardware. Or do you have any standard vendor recommendation on the fabrication of these parts?
