DLPLCR4500EVM: Wavelength capability with DMD and RGB DLP

I was wondering if you can tailor the wavelength for the multicolors, such as R,G,B seperatly. By this I mean, would I be able to set the wavelength for blue to 405 nm and select 460 nm for green and red?

Please verify the specifications listed for the DLP4500 DMD in page 13 of the datasheet:
www.ti.com/.../dlp4500.pdf

The DLP4500 DMD is rated for visible light wavelengths, so lifetime performance may be limited when using 405nm light. In particular the DMD is limited to 0.68 mW/cm^2.

You may want to consider our UV DMDs for this application:

Thank you Philippe! To my understanding, this DMD module should be capable of 400-700 nm. I am trying to utilize this projector for a fluorescent film activation. This would need both wavelengths of 405 nm and 460 nm. Do you know if this projector should work or is there a better solution?

Lauren,

It appears that this DMD is rated for 420nm to 700nm light, according to our product specification. The issue here lies in the effect of 405nm light on this DMD. We have some other products which do support 400nm, as seen in the table:

Please review these additional DMD options to see if any of them may suit your needs while maintaining appropriate wavelength ranges. Let me know if you have any questions.
