Thanks in advance.

  • Hi ssii,

Welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E community and thanks for your question!

A previous thread had a similar question about using labview here: e2e.ti.com/.../2544126

It seems like the options are either to contact your design house to see if they offer any examples or write a labview wrapper that calls the C++/dll files. If you aren’t already aware, the DLPLCR6500EVM software/firmware bundle is at this link: www.ti.com/.../dlpc900ref-sw which includes some dll files the GUI calls, and the tools to call dll files would be on the NI LabView site.

    Best Regards,

    Taylor
  • Thanks, i tried all the dll's in the sw but none of them worked also i encountered similar threads but they seem little different than my question. I want to use particularly DLL's.
  • Hi ssii,

In that case, I will reach out to my team to see if anyone is aware of a particular usable DLL file and get back to you by Friday. In the meantime, I recommend reaching out to a design house if possible to see if they offer any other information.

    Regards,

    Taylor
  • Hi ssii,

As far as my team knows, there is no dll file available for this application, but the entire source code of the GUI is open source. In the installation folder, this directory contains all low level apis: C:\Texas Instruments-DLP\DLPC900REF-SW-3.0.0\DLPC900REF-GUI\Sources\GUI\HiresLib

High level APIs are at: C:\Texas Instruments-DLP\DLPC900REF-SW-3.0.0\DLPC900REF-GUI\Sources\GUI

We have an engineer that returns late next week and I will follow up if we find out more, but as of now this is all we are aware of. Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Best Regards,

    Taylor
