DLP470TP: what RTIR prism to use for bottom illumination?

Part Number: DLP470TP

There is optical reference design for DLP3010 but not DLP4710 / DLP470TP.

Is there any design or part numbers we can use to get the correct RTIR prism in our optical design?

Hi Mike,

We do have a optical Design for DLP4710, you can get it here : www.ti.com/.../tida-01226 .

Currently we don't have any optical reference design for DLP470TP.

I will ask the RTIR prism information for DLP470TP to concerned team and get back to you soon.

Navneet in that link I only see mechanical and electronic designs, I can't find any Zemax or similar optical design project links.

I found one supplier who claims they make RTIR prism for the .47 inch DMDs, "Sicube Photonics (Shenzhen)". Would be helpful to know if TI is aware of them and if they are a partner as I need decent quality but affordable prisms and they don't offer a reasonable sample ordering option or CAD drawings without large amount of sample order, although their bulk price is very good. http://www.si-cube.com/

Hi Mike,
TI normally does not work with optical component suppliers. The optical engine manufacturers will source such components.
We are not a in postilion to comments on capability of suppliers.
