Unable to scan with USB connection

We bought a DLP NIR SCAN NANO, part no.: 95.ub101gc0a. USB may be reversed befor，now I can't connect my board to the PC, keep getting messages "power surge on hub port". and The power indicator is not lighted. What should I do？ thanks

Dear Zhen,
Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

The error message "power surge on hub port" from your PC implies that EVM is drawing more current than that USB port can support. Please refer to section 4.1 (page 40) of DLPNIRScan Nano EVM for power requirement.

Please try connecting to to a different USB port of the PC. If that does not work then try on another PC.

Dear Vivek:

I have tried on another pc, and also have tried another usb cable, but it not work. When connected to pc, the instrument has no reaction except be hot.

I guess the reason may be that I had connect the positive of the device to the negative of usb, the capacitance on the motherboard is breakdown by current.

It seems the board is damaged. If your EVM is still under warranty , please contact disctrubtuor.
