Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP2000, DLPC2607
We are developing a DLP system using the DLPC2607 and DLP2000. We are basing our design heavily on the DLPDLCR2000EVM reference design. In order to test this design, we intend to use the light engine from the EVM (developed by Young Optics). Per the reference design bill-of-materials, the connector for the light engine flex cable is a 50028-05081-001. I have since discovered that the connector on the EVM board we have is actually a 50026-05081-001 (6.5mm high versus 8mm high). Unfortunately, neither of these connectors seem to be available from any distributor in the United States, and there are no off-shore sources that appear in web searches.
May I ask where TI obtains these connectors? Or if any other DLP user has a solution to this problem?
