Is there anyone who can tell me why TI design different micromirror pitch(13.7um,10.8um,7.6um)?What are their different uses?

This document may be helpful for understanding micromirror pitch and includes a comparison of many DMDs: www.ti.com/.../dlpa059c.pdf especially section 2.1 describing the advantages of our latest TRP technology (5.4um).
